**At Armstrong Atlantic State University, applicant files are classified as “international” if they meet the criteria listed below. You should only fill out this International Application if:
  • You are not a U.S. citizen and are currently in the United States on an F-1 (student) visa.
  • You are not a U.S. citizen and will require an F-1 visa to enter and study in the United States.

If you meet the following criteria, you should fill out Armstrong Atlantic State University’s general student application (http://www.es.armstrong.edu/admissions and submit the required documentation.

Other Visa Holder
You are currently in the United States on some other class of visa, J-1, J-2, H1B, etc. Please submit:

  • a copy of the visa from your passport
  • a photocopy of the biographical (photograph and name/birthday/citizenship) page(s) of your passport
  • a photocopy of your most current I-94 card, front and back.

    J-1 visa holders should also submit a photocopy of their DS-2019. If you are a dependent of a visa holder, these same documents will be required from the main visa holder.

You must also submit the following: Official High School and/or College/University Transcripts--Translated & Evaluated. Visit http://www.jsilny.com for evaluation information.

Legal Permanent Residency

If you are a Permanent Legal Resident of the United States, please submit a copy of the front and back of your card for inspection.

If you are in the process of obtaining permanent legal residency, please submit all documentation related to this process. This would include, but not be limited to:

  • an Employment Authorization Document
  • the form I-485
  • or, your I-94 departure record.

If you hold refugee or asylum status, please forward all documentation related to this status.

If you have graduated from high school or college outside the US, you must also submit an Official High School and/or College/University Transcripts--Translated & Evaluated. Visit www.jsilny.com for evaluation information.
